CJ & Johnny

Sorry boys... but you both are too cute! Watch out girls.. lol  I had a blast with these guys... dragging them all around Lucketts to shoot. They also put up with all the teasing I was doing... but I just couldn't help myself!

Ha!  Gotcha kid!  Called your bluff and here you go!  Too Funny!

Jocelyn & James

Its always nice to report a happy ending.. or beginning this case.   James is fresh out of Tech school and was given his first assignment... to Korea!  Wow luck of the draw... but they were able to change it and thankfully stay in Georgia.  As we speak these great newlyweds are heading down to start their lives together in a new place with a wonderful new future together.. I wish you two all the best of luck.

Tree Love...

I took this image because it looked like the two trees were holding hands.... reminded me of the first time holding hands with a crush... letting your fingers intersect together to become one.

Max's Bar Mitzvah

I had the great pleasure of photographing this wonderful celebration.  It was my first time experiencing this important occasion, and I was lucky to have it be Max and his family.  This kid.... wow!  It was like a 25 year old in a 13 yr old body!  He was calm, cool, and gave a great speech!  Congrats Max!

The party had a Raven's theme... it was awesome!  So much hard work from Max and his family!

Fall.... I love you!

Maryland is breath taking this time of year.... the hills are on fire with beautiful array of colors. Its one of my favorite things about this state. Coming from WA state where its green all year round, its a nice change. Just wish it lasted longer!

Love & Food

I am itching to go back over to Harpers Ferry to do any type of shoot..... maybe a couples shoot just because!  Or even some family or child session for Holiday cards... not too late!  I love the tiny town with its cobblestone roads over looking the rivers merging.  Its a beautiful place and would love to go play around with anyone interested!

Since Autumn has arrived, Ive been obsessed with my crock pot!  I love love this recipe I stole from a friend and would like to share it with you.  I am always looking for easy crock pot ideas.... so send some on over if want and I'll be sure to try it!

Big crock pot size....

Add all in at once
6 cans of Northern beans
4 chicken breasts (frozen works too)
1 jar of southwestern salsa
Add only enough water until everything covered

Cook low for 8 hrs.... and WAALA  yummy in your tummy!
Add grated cheese and sour cream to your liking!

My new Thomas Johnson 2010 Senior Rep.... Hannah.  It was a pleasure photographing this sweet Senior with an awesome smile!   Hannah was so easy going... it was like I was back west.  She is in the middle of football season as a TJ cheerleader and also just applied to Duke!  I wish her all the best luck!
During our shoot we did a little of everything... it was a fantastic day with so many great images.  I can't wait to see her Rep cards  And thanks to Janis for the stellar lighting assistance!

One of my favorite things right now is my retro camera apt on my phone... I see things here and there all the time.  That I blow up my Facebook with random pics of nothing.  I miss film sometimes and the look you use to get from old cameras especially Polaroids.... but now I have this.  And I thought I'd share some of my last trip home to Seattle with you..  Enjoy!
The Pike Place Market.... My ultimate favorite part of Seattle.  Haven't been anywhere with this type of awesome vendors and overall feeling when you walk through.  I miss it so much!

Went to the Museum of Flight

Downtown Waterfront Seattle.... LOVE IT!
